Rouncaou is a house built in the beginning of the century in the pure traditional south-west French style. If you wonder d'Artagnan 's Gascogne, if you like the south-west of France and love forest, white sand beaches of the Atlantic cost, you will find in Rouncaou the quietness and the comfort that you need to enjoy your holidays.
The camping,
of which the smallness ensures your quietness and tranquility, accomodates your
tents in the middle of pines. Equiped with showers, bathroom installations and electricity,
it fulfills all mandatory comfort norms to provide enjoying holidays.
Some walk and cycle ways start just direct from the place. They will bring you to
the heart of the forest, to discover the rich local fauna and flora.
Each house of the "airial" (old word meaning the complete part of the forest accomodating the farm) respects all administrative application charges of the French ministry of tourism. Both in summer and winter, these guest houses offer you quietness for you and your family. All ready-to-use equipments provide you the optimal comfort you need to allow you a full leisure time without any material constraints. - By the road : From Paris, Bordeaux... Highway A63 to Castets (Exit 12), then direction Pontonx-sur-adour (D 42), finally left road after village's church. The villages is called Taller (D 140)
- By train : Dax trainstation (4 hours from Paris-Montparnasse, 3 hours from Toulouse, 1 hour from Bordeaux...).
- By plane : Several airports in the area : Biarritz (1 hour - Desserved by Ryanair ) , Bordeaux Mérignac Airport (2 hours), Bergerac, Toulouse or Pau airports are also relevant.
